T93 GM TCM Unlock Options
In order to start tuning your 2019+ GM vehicle’s 8 or 10-speed transmission, its T93 TCM must be unlocked to accept tunes using HP Tuners VCM Suite. We are offering a new unlocked TCM saving the need to send yours out for unlocking.
T93 TCM vehicle support includes, but is not limited to:
2020+ Chevrolet Camaro
2019-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 (5.3L/6.2L Gas/3.0L Duramax)
2020+ Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD (6.6L L5P)
*Only non-Global B vehicles
Note: T93 TCM support covers 8 and 10-speed-equipped 2020+ GM vehicles as well as some 2019+ GM vehicles. To confirm if your 2019+ GM vehicle has the T93 TCM requiring this unlock service for tuning, please see here.
Unlocked T93 TCM Purchase
Instead of sending in your original TCM for servicing, you can purchase a brand-new T93 TCM that is already unlocked and ready for tuning. This option is ideal for users who want their vehicle up and running as quickly as possible.

“Replace TCM” function in VCM Scanner is required. See instructions here.
NOTE: The GM T87A TCM you receive will be unlocked and programmed to work on diesel vehicles, to use on a gasoline vehicle you will need a GM tool or a J2534 tool to reprogram the unit yourself. You can also special-order this TCM programmed for gasoline vehicles by contacting our sales team.
Note: The T93 TCM is GM’s replacement for the T87A TCM found in GM vehicles prior to 2020. If your vehicle is equipped with the T87A TCM, please see our T87A TCM options.
Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of any unlock service or purchase. Credits must be purchased separately.
