4″ DPF Extinguisher Pipe.
Vehicle Installation – 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Cummins 6.7 Diesel. Crew cab short bed, crew cab long bed & mega cab. This will not fit the 3500/4500/5500 Cab & Chassis commercial style trucks.
Installation – Installation takes about 1 hour with simple hand tools on the floor of your driveway or garage. Faster if you have an automotive style lift. Cutting may be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Brackets, hangers and hardware are included. You may need to reuse some factory parts.
Fuel Economy – Expect a significant improvement in fuel economy. If your DPF is clogged, you’ll probably average about 13-14 mpg. More or less, depending on the severity of the contamination. After removing the DPF/CAT, you can expect a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Larger tires and poor driving habits will push the mileage down.
Tuner Required – DPF, CAT, SCR and/or DOC removal requires the removal and elimination of emissions related sensors. A tuner that can clear DPF is required to prevent an engine check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from being set. If you do not already have a DPF delete tuner, we recommend the H&S Mini Maxx.
